Raja Ampat
Join us in Raja Ampat aboard the Aurora, January 18 – 27, 2026!
Trip Details
Our home for the trip, the Aurora, is a spacious 130’ long double masted , teak motor-sail yacht, built
according to the traditional Phinisi style and designed for the discerning dive clientele.
As a guest aboard, you will experience modern comfort combined with the charm of a traditional boat. Aurora has
been built following modern and environmentally friendly principles and gives us the opportunity to
explore remote areas which only a few – if any – have seen.
Raja Ampat is one of the world’s most remote and vibrant dive destinations. It resides proudly at the top
of most divers’ bucket lists. The diving is renowned for its unparalleled biodiversity and pristine reefs,
which attract divers from around the world. Raja Ampat National Park is located in Indonesia’s West
Papua province at the center of the Coral Triangle. In Bahasa, the country’s official language, Raja Ampat
translates to “Four Kings” and represents the four major islands of this legendary dive region: Misool,
Salawati, Batanta and Waigeo.
The Raja Ampat archipelago, comprised of over 1,500 cays, islands and shoals. The area is incredibly
remote, so the reefs visited by dive liveaboards are exceptionally healthy and untouched.
Raja Ampat diving makes an awe-inspiring impression on underwater photographers who visit. Colorful
marine life and beautiful reef scenes offers endless opportunities to shoot publication-worthy photos,
such as mantis shrimp, wobbegong sharks, manta rays, pygmy sea horses and much more. Many of
these outstanding photo opportunities can be found nowhere else in the world.
