Palau
Join us in Palau aboard the Palau Siren, January 15th – 25th, 2027!
Trip Details
Come and join us on another epic Ultimate Scuba adventure on the world class Palau Siren!
We have been to Palau 3 times in the early years but only on weeklong trips. We always departed this magical destination wanting more. This time we booked an 11-day 10-night expedition to one of the top dive destinations on the globe.
As a bonus we will be doing a full moon dive when massive snapper schools congregate to spawn! Local guides will be in place to take us to the spawning locations.
Of course this is not the only event Palau is famous for. The wall, wreck and reef diving is world renowned. We will be visiting old favorites dive sites like:

Blue Corner: Famous for strong currents, reef hooks, and massive schools of jacks, barracuda, tuna and sharks.
Big Drop-Off: A spectacular, nearly vertical wall dropping hundreds of feet teeming with reef fish, turtles and sharks.
Ulong Channel: A picturesque drift dive through a coral lined channel, home to groupers and triggerfish.
German Channel: A dredged channel famous for manta Ray cleaning stations and soft corrals.
Blue Holes: Four large vertical shafts opening into a cavern, perfect for exploring hidden critters/
Peleliu Wall & Cut: An immense wall with caves and caverns attracting sharks, turtles and mantas at the corner.
WW2 Wrecks: like the Helmet wreck, Jake Seaplane and the massive Amatsu Maru cargo ship.
Jellyfish Lake: Where you can snorkel with millions of stingless golden and moon jellyfish.
Chandelier Caves: A multi-chamber cave system with beautiful stalactites.
This is but a small sampling of dive sites available!

There are various ways to fly to Palau. Through Hawaii and Guam. Through Manila in the Philippines or through Tokyo Japan. I’m thinking of flying to Tokyo and spending 3 or 4 nights over there to for instance visit Mount Fuji and other cultural areas.
