Truk Lagoon & Yap: March 8-20, 2008
 
Come join us for the adventure of your lifetime. We will visit two of the most remote and exotic dive destinations on earth. The first part of the trip will be spent on board the Truk Odyssey. We'll be diving the ghost fleet of Truk Lagoon, the worlds best shipwreck destination. That's only the beginning of your adventure. We'll visit the outer reefs to see a pristine underwater utopia where over 300 varieties of soft corals flaunt their rainbow colors. You'll see an abundance of incredible tropical fish, anemones, gorgonians, eagle rays and even frenzied shark feedings. Back on board we'll be pampered with the best food and ser vice available anywhere. No wonder the Odyssey was voted Best Liveabord in the world 3 years in a row. At the end of our first week we are going to say goodbye to Truk and head to a place where time stood still. Welcome to the island of Yap where you can still see stone money used since ancient times. We'll be staying at the Manta Ray Bay hotel for 5 nights and 3 days of diving. This resort which has just undergone a 2 million makeover is also known as “The best little dive hotel in the Pacific”. Of course the main attraction of Yap is the Manta Rays, lots of them. When these gracious giants come swooping into the lagoon to feed we'll be waiting for them. At times we'll be surrounded by as many as 50 mantas. We will also dive reef sites like Yap Caverns where we'll see Lion Fish, Clown Fish, White tip reef sharks and even the exotic Mandarin Fish. We have only 16 spots available on this trip so as usual this will sell out fast. The guests who can't do both destinations have an option to do Truk only. Accordingly, pricing reflects Truk with a Yap add-on.

Truk costs: $4,900.00 (Include the following)
  • Round trip airfare from Philadelphia to Truk.
  • Airport/boat transfers in Truk.
  • 7 nights aboard the Odyssey including meals, all beverages, nitrox, diving, permit fees & port charges.
